Britney Attends Cousin Laura Lynne’s Special Day

Congratulations are in order to one Miss Laura Lynne Covington! Not to steal focus from the bride but Brit was an honorary bridesmaid at her cousin’s Spring wedding this past Saturday – as was Laura at Brit & Kev’s big day back in 2004. The occasion was held at the First United Methodist Church in Amite, Louisiana and, of course lucky for us, a wedding guest spoke to People.com about the affair.

“When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful. She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected. There was no fanfare. With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride's day.”

Lovely to hear! Jamie Lynne was also a bridesmaid, and according to the ‘guest’ the sisters kept each other company. JL carried Maddie and the three of them “sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew.”

Congrats again, Laura.

Check out Brit at the wedding, chilling at a table with assistant Brett Miller – courtesy of LaineyGossip.com. According to them, Brit’s bodyguard was also there as well as her “rumoured boyfriend” Jason Trawick. They also noted that she “looked socially awkward at the party, hardly talking with anyone.”
