Pushing Pause

Hi everyone. Sad news :-(

I only have internet connection at work and due to the tough economic times that business has closed it's doors so I will not be able to run the blog until I can organise the net at home.

Brit’s Elle Magazine Mess

This sounds like a vicious rumour, but I’ll fill ya’ll in anyway – just so you know the facts when defending her at parties…

According to NUMEROUS REPORTS Britney recently had a photoshoot with Elle Magazine and things didn’t go down very well. A source tells Page 6:
“They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes - and, well, let's just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn't pretty.”

Still, it’s better than the 2007 OK Magazine fiasco:
She apparently wiped greasy fried chicken all over an Alisha Levine couture dress, and then her pooch did the nasty on a $6,700 Zac Posen gown. All this inbetween repeated bathroom breaks with the door open and then running out after just four shots – still wearing $14,000 worth of borrowed clothing.

Baby steps, Brit.

PS This really must be bullshit, who forgets their period?!

Although it’s not fully reliable, this kinda confirms what I thought to start with.
An anonymous comment on X17 said the following:
“yeah im pretty sure this is not true seeing that i was there. since she is doing well now people are just simply making things up. she was a pleasure to work with on set that day and i think the pictures will prove it.”

More News On Logo Awards

When LOGO’s NewNowNext Awards airs on June 13, Britney will receive the "Always Next, Forever Now” and to celebrate she filmed a fake fragrance commercial for Mo – a fragrance for gay men (check it out here).

According to In Touch Brit has pre-recorded a thank you message to be played at the awards as scheduling conflicts prohibit her from attending the show.

LOGO Executive Producer Christopher Willey explains Britney’s role at this years awards, the Mo fragrance idea and her role in the gay community:
“She's having fun with her gay audience, because she's an official gay icon at such a young and tender age. We [wanted] something that would be fun and playful that we can celebrate/mock, and we thought, 'It's her perfume career,' because everyone knows every holiday season they bring out those commercials of her running through a forest or a hotel.”

He explains that he went to B’s team and they “loved the idea”, although Britney was a bit of a skeptic:
“Britney herself wanted to make sure that the punch line - which is the word 'Mo - wasn't offensive in any way.”

He adds that the ad was filmed on the set of the If U Seek Amy video shoot with extra scenes added from MTV's ‘Britney: For the Record’ documentary.

“She has this natural rapport with the gay community. I think she just really likes her gay fans and she sees this as a way to talk directly to them, which she hasn't really done before.”

Radar Filming Has Begun

As previously suspected, Britney has indeed begun filming the music video for Radar, the 4th single off her album ‘Circus’.

Filming began this morning at the Bacara Resort & Spa outside Santa Barbara and will continue for the next two days. Between dancers, the camera crew and security there are more than 100 people on the scene, including Brit’s tots Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Rumours: Photo Book, X-Mas Songs & Radar Video Shoot

Britney recently twittered about her new Candies shoot, and while we’re all looking forward to some more shots of Brit, this is even bigger news! According to LaineyGossip.com:
“Two weeks ago, Britney reshot her Candie’s ads with Matthew Rolston and word is Brit is considering a photo book in time for the holidays to go along with a couple of Christmas songs.”

Secondly, some lesser known actor from CSI NY, Ethan Erickson, is flying over to Brazil to do some promotional shots for Mr. Cat Shoes and Accessories. Blah blah. The exciting part is what Portuguese gossip site Terra had to say about Erickson (translation):
“Before coming to Brazil, Ethan Erickson will be in Los Angeles tomorrow (05/27) and will play Britney Spears love interest in her new music video.”

Could Britney be filming the video for Radar TODAY?
Is he the man with the Midas touch?!
Only time will tell…

Brit's Gay Fragrance

Britney will soon be graced with an award at the 2009 NewNowNext Awards. In celebration she filmed this short parody advert for the show where she promotes Mo, a new perfume specifically for gay men. Watch as she announces:

“Just one spray, and the gays will come your way!”
